The cats are running out of milk and have discovered a rather healthy supply of it underwater. Mining the milk is easy but keeping the miners safe is challenging. You control a fellow feline that pilots an underwater craft used for shooting massive amounts of enemies that incessantly attack the miners.
Aqua Kitty Milk Mine Defender DX is basically Defender(an old arcade game). You can move up and down but mostly left and right in a wide looping area shooting enemies, collecting power-ups and rescuing your feline friends. Much like the game that influenced it there is a map at the top of the screen the shows you where everything is. If all the miners are captured or you die, it’s game over. Between levels on the map screen you can buy weapons and upgrades. There are waves of robotic sea life, bosses in addition to 2 player local coop and milk-free infinite and arcade modes. Aqua Kitty Milk Mine Defender DX puts a fun twist on some classic arcade mechanics.
Recommendation: Worth a buy – if you like Defender style arcade games…and maybe milk.
