In Space We Brawl is a co-op focused arena space shooter. You and up to 3 others pick a ship, a loadout and attempt to destroy each other. The selection of ships and weapons only grows as you play the game and unlock more choices. Trade-offs of durability, speed, energy etc are inherent in your selections. The single player portion consists of challenges that seem to start out teaching you how to play the game and eventually become exercises in frustration. In Space We Brawl has all the elements of a great couch co-op game but for whatever reason it didn’t click with me.
Recommendation: Worth a buy on sale – only if you have people to play with – who want to play
